Agriculture in Mexico is divided into 2 types. The large plantation operations growing cereals, fruit and vegetables, coffee and cotton owned by conglomerates and successful entrepreneurs and subsistance farming with families working small pieces of land to support their families. The tour will visit both to contrast and compre markets.

We will visit some of the major historical sites created by the Aztec and Mayan peoples as we explore the western regions of Mexico.
