Just south of the equator, Tanzania is huge and known best for its vast Serengeti plains with abundant wildlife and great wildebeest migrations. 

Agriculture is the main part of Tanzania's economy and boasts over 44 million hectares of arable land but with only 33% of this in cultivation. The main production is maize, wheat, rice, beans, coffee, potatoes and bananas.
